Giardino Monumentale di Valsanzibio
Via Diana, 2, 35030 Valsanzibio PD
The Monumental Garden of Valsanzibio, located in the Euganean Hills Regional Park, is one of the largest and best-preserved historic gardens in Italy. More than 70% of the plants are native to the garden and rare, such as a 380-year-old California cedar. Throughout the garden, you can admire seventy statues in white Istrian stone, rich in symbolism and mythology. The maze—one of the oldest in the world—offers an adventurous challenge, making choices, overcoming obstacles, and enjoying a spectacular view from the central tower. Art and mythology come together in this garden, making it the perfect place for a delightful family day out.
Butterfly Arc
The Butterfly Arc—the very first Butterfly House in Italy established in 1988—is located a few kilometres away from our facility. Inside, you’ll have the chance to admire over 400 butterfly species from around the world and to observe closely their evolution from tiny eggs to beautiful butterflies. These live in a glass greenhouse, among exotic plants that recreate a tropical climate. In the Bosco delle Fate (Fairy Forest), children can meet mythological characters such as trolls, elves, fairies, gnomes and other enchanted friends. A magical place for a unique family experience.
