Azienda Agricola Le Volpi & Monte Fasolo is a winery estate in the Euganean Hills, still run today as a family enterprise. Notable for a strong commitment to sustainable growth, the company combines wine production with hospitality and catering services to offer a complete and unique visitor experience.
In 2010, the Rossi Luciani family made a move to realize its goals, first acquiring Le Volpi and thereafter Monte Fasolo, two agricultural concerns that had flourished in former times but by then were in a state of neglect. The recovery and redevelopment project involved the vineyards and olive groves on the one hand, and the winery and the hospitality and catering facilities on the other. The combination of entrepreneurial intuition and a belief in sustainable agriculture has resulted in an ambitious project aimed at enhancing the entire local area, as well as creating one of the largest estates in the Euganean Hills.
Today, this is a project that continues to be a family-driven venture. It is the new generation, together with a young and dynamic team, who carries it forward, turning the teachings passed down through an entrepreneurial family into tangible actions. A journey marked by passion, dedication, and love for both wine and the land, with the goal of sharing their true, authentic value.
One cannot talk about our company in isolation from its setting, the Euganean Hills, an area that features the widest biodiversity in Europe. In 1989, the region became known as the Euganean Hills Regional Park, and in 2024 it was officially named the Euganean Hills Biosphere Reserve as part of the UNESCO MAB programme.
In effect, our history has its origins right here in the rural Veneto region, a land of vines and olive trees, and is driven by the desire to rediscover its historical roots and share its tradition and beauty with others. It is against this background that we ply our trade as producers of Veneto wines, carrying on a deeply rooted local agricultural tradition.
Where first-rate wines are born
The Euganean Hills offer the ideal environment for growing vines, a tradition that dates back to pre-Roman times. Our philosophy combines a deep understanding of the land with continuous research, blending age-old winemaking traditions with modern techniques to create small productions of exceptional quality.
Years of study have allowed us to gain a thorough understanding of each grape variety and plot of land, protecting native vines while experimenting with new methods to preserve both the integrity of the product and the authentic character of the wine.
Our vineyards, cultivated with full respect for the environment, produce organic grapes from ten carefully selected varieties, entirely dedicated to the creation of organic and vegan wines. These include: Cabernet, Sauvignon, Merlot, Carménère, Pinot Noir, Manzoni Bianco, Moscato Giallo, Chardonnay, Glera and Garganega. Each vine is tended with care at every stage of growth and production, to create wines that are authentic, sustainable, and able to fully express the true identity of the Euganean Hills.
